Ashley was born two months earlier, and she weighed only 2 pounds 8 ounces. In ICU the hospital, Ashley stayed for an entire month. At Christmas Day, her parents learned that she'd need to have heart surgery. Their prayers were answered on Christmas Day when they went to the doctor and found out that Ashley's heart had been shut. Ashley did not need surgery. Her release was to go to her home in the weight range of 4 1/2 pounds after having been hospitalized two months. Her health has improved since! Her father is an English-German. Her mother's lineage is from Ireland. Her acting debut was as a Barbie Doll in the commercial for Salon Surprise in 2002. Ashley was then pursued by The Ford Modeling Agency at the age of eight. Ashley has been steadily working with The Ford Modeling Agency for a number of years. She was a performer when she was a teenager. Ashley performed in over 35 commercials. Later, she moved onto theatrical roles. Ashley was now devoted to acting. Ashley focused all her attention on her acting. It left little time for modelling and dancing. Ashley's last role on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley made a brief cameo on the music video of "True love" by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. She did a photo shoot with Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. The singer is in the video for "That Girl" by NLT.
